FAQ Amazon Munich Summer Party 2025

Registration & attendance:

1. How can I register for the Amazon Munich Summer Party?

You have received an invitation including all registration details by e-mail on June 23 from info@munich-summer-party.com. Please register until Thursday, July 21 EOD CET. You will then receive a ticket with a QR code, which is your confirmation and entry ticket to the event.

2. Can I register with my private e-mail address?

Please enter the email address at which you would like to receive the ticket for the event. Be advised that this information will be given to a trusted third party, who will send out the ticket with QR code. This third party is in line with data protection laws.

3. I have missed the registration deadline, or the registration link is no longer available. What can I do?

If you missed the registration deadline (July 21 EOD CET), please send an e-mail with your request to: info@munich-summer-party.com with all of the information below:

Details required:

a. First name

b. Last name

c. Employee ID

d. Alias

e. Company

f. The e-mail address you would like to receive your QR code to. With giving this information, you agree to it being processed by a trusted third party for transmission of QR code.

4. How can I register a new hire?

As manager to any new hire(s) it would be a nice gesture to get in touch with your new hire(s) and invite them to the party. Kindly ask your new hire(s) for the information (c.f. previous point) and then pass the replies on to

info@munich-summer-party.com within the deadline, so your new hire(s) can be properly registered. Please be aware that it is your responsibility to register a new hire whose first day is after June 23. All others have the chance to register to the event via the personal invitation they received by e-mail.

5. I de-/registered after the deadline (July 21) but did not get an immediate response – what do I do?

Deadline for your registration is Thursday, July 21. The registration will then be taken offline and any changes might no longer be monitored. Please email us with your request, providing all of the information (for registration request), and you will be automatically added to the waiting list (incomplete replies will not be considered). Please understand that you will not receive an extra confirmation of this step, kindly refrain from asking for it.

6. I unfortunately can no longer join – how can I cancel?

Before July 21: Please go to the registration homepage and select “cancellation”

After July 21: Please email us, providing your login. You will then be taken off the guest list and your ticket will be passed on to the next person on the waiting list. Since our event has limited spaces available, your timely cancellation would greatly benefit others eagerly waiting for a chance to participate.

7. I am on the waiting list. When/how will I know whether I can attend?

The list changes constantly with people confirming or cancelling their attendance.

++ Make sure to check the email account you have given the email address for when registering and also kindly check your junk mail filters first. ++

8. Why have I not received any email or QR code?

This can have multiple reasons:

a. Have you registered via the registration homepage? Have you given all the information required within the

deadline, as incomplete or late entries will not have been recognized?

b. Have you perhaps ticked the box "No, sorry. I cannot attend this year."?

c. Have you checked the right e-mail account (the e-mail address you have provided to receive your

d. QR code to)?

Have you checked your spam filters?

9. I accidently deleted the e-mail with my QR- Code and I can’t find it anymore. Is there any way you can send it to me again?

If you deleted your e-mail, please email us so we can send you a new ticket including the QR code.

10. Who is eligible to join the Amazon Munich summer party?

All Corporate Amazonians (all badges) based in MUC 2,4,5,11, and 14 are invited to join the Amazon Munich. summer party.

11. Can virtual employees attend the Summer Party?

The Summer Party is exclusively for employees with a workplace in our Munich offices. Virtual employees, who do not have a physical presence in those locations, are unable to attend the event.

12. Will the event be catered?

Yes, a variety of food and (non)-alcoholic drinks will be provided on site. There will be lots of food choices which include omnivore, vegetarian, or vegan options.

13. Can I bring my partner/friend/family member?

As the guest number will be limited, the summer party is for Munich based Corporate Amazonians only, and not open for partners, friends, or family members.

14. Can I bring my child?

Please understand that our party is for grown up Amazonians only, as neither facilities, nor event time or catering options are appropriate or safe for kids/infants.

15. Why are registrations needed? Why do you put people on a waiting list?

We want you to have the best possible experience to enjoy the party. The number of participants is not only relevant for the overall planning of the event, it also ensures we have enough catering, and is vitally important from a security aspect, i.e. not exceeding the permitted number of persons on the premises, providing enough restrooms, having sufficient medics on site, allowing for sufficient escape routes, etc.

We want to have a great time together, but also take your safety very seriously. The registration process and waiting list are part of this process.

Location & setting:

16. Where is the event location?

Paulaner am Nockherberg, Hochstraße 77, 81541 München

17. When will the events begin/end?

Doors open at 7pm CET, the Event will start at 7 pm CET will end at 1 am CET.

18. Can I get in later?

The reception desk is open all night. Please know that food and entertainment are timed, so you might miss some parts, depending on when you show up.

19. How do I get to the venue?

Please use public transportation to get to Paulaner am Nockherberg. Within a few minutes, you can reach Kolumbusplatz station by underground line U2, which is within walking distance of the main entrance.

Please do not drink and drive. We are close to the city center of Munich, hence public transportation and taxis will be available throughout the night.

20. Will there be transportation provided from the office to the venue?

No, there will be no organized transportation from the office to the party (or back from the location later at night). We have perfect public transport connection.

21. Do I need to bring my badge?

No, you do not need to bring your badge. You will get a QR code (to the e-mail address you provided during registration), which will serve as your ticket. You can bring a digital or printed version of that QR code.

22. Will I get in without my QR code?

If you forgot your QR code please queue at the troubleshooting line (this line will be clearly labeled). Our hostesses will be able to assist you, if you are on the guest list and you can provide your login and the e-mail address your QR code was sent to. This line also handles all other questions you might have. Please do not use any of the other lines as those are designated to Amazonians with QR code.

23. What is the dress code?

There is no specific dress code for the event, as we want you to enjoy yourself and feel comfortable. However, you are encouraged to dress according to the theme of "Amazon in Wonderland.". Please note that the event will take place both outdoors and indoors. We have plenty of indoor areas available in case of inclement weather.

24. I have dietary restrictions - will that be reflected?

We try to cover all food preferences (omnivore, vegetarian, or vegan) and reflect this as much as possible. If you have very individual dietary requirements, there might be a chance that you cannot try all of the food we provide. Please understand that given our size, we will not be able to pre-reserve foods for individuals but please email us to see if we can work something out.

25. Is there a wardrobe?

Yes, there will be a free opportunity to drop off wardrobe items.

26. Who should I contact if I have additional questions about the event?
